Together We Can Do More
Together we can do more to conserve the natural fossil fuel resources we have, while developing the energy supplies we will need in the future. Nuclear energy, fossil fuels and renewable energy should all play important roles in securing the nation's energy. Right now, important advancements are being made in clean energy production and the stewardship of fossil fuels. The challenge is to meet the rising demand for energy with available production solutions. Solar, wind and hydroelectric energy are being used across the nation and around the world to help meet growing energy demands, and commercial industries are working to create solutions to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. This section discusses the roles of renewable energy, how a private-public partnership can strengthen our energy stewardship, and why nuclear process heat is important to balancing our energy supply.
